Alexei Pergande’s combat sports journey began with jiu-jitsu at the age of 7, before adding in wrestling and boxing a couple of years later, going on to have over 500 wrestling matches and 88 boxing fights. Pergande, considered a striking specialist, won the Ringside Boxing World Championship in 2016 and has fought exclusively in the PFL since his 2022 MMA debut. Pergande, who fights out of Kill Cliff FC, won a PFL contract with a submission of Joe Hamm. Since then, Pergande has scored victories over Elvis Lebron Quiles, Akeem Bashir and Shawn Stefanelli.

 

Dan Boehle shows aggression in the cage, emphasizing his striking while mixing in his grappling ability. A former amateur lightweight champion, Boehle is 4-2 in his young career thus far, which includes two victories by submission and one by KO/TKO. Boehle, a Tennessee native, most recently fought in March, losing to Ilyaz Mamadaliyev.

Round 1

 

Boehle tries to come out throwing, coming on the front foot aggressively. High kick from Pergande is blocked. Boehle grabs a leg and presses Pergande into the fence. Pergande shrugs it off and reverses the position as they go chest-to-chest against the SmartCage. The clinch goes off the fence and to the center. Boehle lands an uppercut off the break. Pergande lands a notable knee in their exchange. Pergande lands a switch knee! Pergande lands a combination. Pergande dumps Boehle to his back. Boehle gets back to his feet after a little bit. A clinch from the get-go. One-two from Pergande. Boehle grabs a leg, but Pergande back flipped out of it! Another clinch between the two, with Boehle pressing his back to the fence. Boehle lands a strong left hand and presses again. Boehle tries to get the fight back to the ground, but Pergande is the one who gets on top. Boehle tries to posture for an armbar, but Pergande was well-prepared for that. Boehle has a tight guard in on Pergande, preventing him from doing work.

 

 

Pergande stacks the legs and lands a right hand. Boehle looking for a kimura, but Pergande gets out of it. Pergande with a left hand over the top. Pergande with another left hand. Pergande lands a couple of more strikes. Boehle tries for a triangle, but Pergande has none of it. Boehle tries to drive Pergande’s head away. Boehle kicks himself out for an armbar attempt. Pergande defends by forcing his weight down, but the time runs out anyway.

 

 

 

Round 3

 

Pergande circles on the outside. Boehle with a big swing and miss. Boehle tries to pressure Pergande. Boehle misses a round kick. Right hand by Pergande before another clinch against the SmartCage. Pergande gets a foot sweep for the trip. Pergande throws a couple of right hands. Pergande threatens with a D’Arce choke! Boehle flattens himself out to escape the submission and tries to roll through. Pergande remains on top, however. Not a lot of activity as we get about halfway through round three now.

 

The referee calls for action twice. Pergande tries to work from up top, but Boehle using his guard to keep Pergande at bay. The referee calls for action as we’re 90 seconds away from the end of this fight. The referee stands them up. Front kick and a left hand from Pergande. Boehle goes for a takedown, but Pergande stuffs it. Pergande gets to Boehle’s back and stops any offense from Boehle, finishing the fight on the back.
