Cody Law made his way to MMA in 2020 after dominating in college wrestling, becoming an NCAA Division-II champion and All-American. Prior to his PFL debut tonight, Law competed exclusively under the Bellator banner, racking up an 8-2 record thanks to his superiority in the ground game. The American Top Team product has won three of his last five, most recently getting the judges’ nod over Jefferson Pontes at Bellator 301 last November.

 

Zack Hicks also has a wrestling background, having competed in the sport in high school and college. Hicks, competing in his hometown of Nashville tonight, has won four of his last five fights, including his most recent battle – a decision over Brandon Gaitor in December. Hicks, who has submissions in five of his nine victories, made his PFL debut in the Challenger Series last year, getting submitted by Nathan Kelly.
