Sadibou Sy, who won Welterweight gold in the PFL during the 2022 Season, now looks to find his second piece of PFL success through the 2025 PFL World Tournament. Sy, in fact, is the first PFL fighter in history to have fought at Welterweight, Middleweight and Light Heavyweight. A former champion in Muay Thai and kickboxing, has scored knockouts in nine of his 17 victories thus far, which have included wins over Rory MacDonald and Andrew Sanchez. Sy, also known for his flashy knockouts, defeated Sanchez in last year’s season but missed the Playoffs by also losing to Joshua Silveira due to injury.
Dalton Rosta has been a name to watch out for at 185, and now he hopes his PFL debut tonight will mark the start of a major run of success. Rosta, who began wrestling and boxing at young ages, was also a former football player before going to MMA full-time. After a 7-0 amateur MMA run and 6-0 amateur boxing run, Rosta is 9-1 as a pro in MMA. Rosta last fought at the Bellator Champions Series event in Dublin last June, scoring a majority decision win over Norbert Novenyi Jr.
