Impa Kasanganay found his greatest success, changing his career and life around upon arriving to the PFL in 2023. It was that season where, after winning a Challenger Series bout, he was invited to compete in the Light Heavyweight division, going on to become the 2023 PFL Light Heavyweight World Champion. Kasanganay tried to replicate that success in 2024, defeating Alex Polizzi, Jakob Nedoh and Joshua Silveira, but he fell short in the final against Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov. Now, Kasanganay drops back to Middleweight and hopes to find success in the World Tournament for his second PFL title.
Fabian Edwards has developed himself into one of the most notable names at 185 through his striking and his success in Bellator. The brother of Leon Edwards, Fabian Edwards went 9-3 in Bellator, challenging Johnny Eblen for the Bellator Middleweight title twice but coming up unsuccessful both times. His last win came sandwiched between those two fights, defeating Aaron Jeffrey at the first Bellator Champions Series event last year. Now, Edwards makes his PFL debut and looks to finally capture a title on MMA’s biggest stage.
Which of these two gets the chance to continue on with their success in 2025?
